You ask me for a female vocalist, first thought is a younger Stevie Nicks, Joan Jett,Canadian so loved Lee Aaron, etc. I always thought it a shame Kesha presented so trashy as I always heard something in the autotune. Now hearing this, I see a Woman with a powerful voice ready to stand amoung her peers. Also, she is much more attractive as a real human and not some glammed up sleaze like she was. This song gave me a chill, as real talent always does. Hope this continues.

Intriguing true story of a pioneering woman who apparently changed American law forever, when she successfully proved that discriminating on the basis of sex (little title drop there) was unconstitutional. This lady now sits on the Supreme Court, and despite her rapidly advancing years, is still making history today. Good on her!
As for the movie, well it's about what you'd expect. Part courtroom drama, and partly delving into her family life, it documents the circumstances that made her the true trailblazer she was, and the many obstacles she faced along the way in an unfair patriarchal society. Including, having to temporarily give up her promising law career to take care of her sick husband, as well as dealing with a headstrong daughter who has her own ideas about gender equality.
It's not the most involving film around from a narrative perspective, as a lot of these plot elements have been done to death in other so-called 'inspiring' movies. But it passes the time adequately enough, and by the time the real life Ruth Bader Ginsberg makes a surprise appearance near the end, you may just be tempted to stand up and give a little cheer yourself. 6/10.

I love Felicity Jones and RBG and can't wait.
